We cater for parties of 2-200. The Coniston Suite is the more intimate ceremony room. Seating a maximum of 30, or alternatively the Mountain View Restaurant will hold 65 guests. Our gardens are the perfect venue for a marquee to accommodate more guests for a wedding breakfast or evening entertainment.

With a private jetty at the end of the garden, what could be more romantic than taking a cruise around the tranquil Coniston Water on your special day. We aim to cater for individual requirements and strive to create a tailor made wedding package to suit your preferences.

From south leave M6 jct 36 take first exit A591 Kendal/South Lakes. Continue for 8 miles, straight over large roundabout A591 Windermere/Ambleside. As you reach Ambleside set of traffic lights and the Waterhead Hotel is directly in front. Bear left at traffic lights and first right after pedestrian crossing into main hotel car park. From north, leave M6 jct 40 and follow A66 to Keswick, as you near Keswick take A591 to Windermere. Go through Ambleside, keep in left lane, past Hayes Garden Centre on right. As you approach traffic lights, Waterhead Hotel is on the right.
